Please request dates via the Time to Pet portal as this is the best and fastest way to get a response.
Space is limited for our overnight boarding crew based on size, 15-20 dogs allowed.
We look forward to hosting your pet. Before they stay with us please make sure to book an overnight boarding trial Monday - Thursday.
After their trial you may begin to book any of our services. (Trials are a paid service $75)
You may book the trial same day as your meet and greet.
What do we look for in a trial?
First part of the day is ensure your pet can socialize well with other dogs in group play while keeping a safe and fun environment.
The overnight part of the trial we want ensure your dog can sleep well through the night. We like to ensure your pet feels at home and that they are relaxed while boarding with us. Lastly, having a trial is super important to your pet as we are strangers to them at first, being able to come back to a place they are familiar with helps ease them into not seeing you for a few days because we will no longer be strangers to them and most importantly, they trust us.
Drop-off & Pick-up times
Drop off time(s): 9AM, 11AM, & 1PM
If you have a special request drop off time, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Pick-up times may vary if you add on a doggy daycare day for their last days visit. Latest pick-up time is 4PM at our home location.
If your dog is a regular customer and has been to both our locations we can always add on a neighborhood walk to walk them over to our daycare location for an after 4PM pick-up time.

Please note: Pick-ups or drop-offs on Sunday are at 9 AM only. Otherwise, pick-up would be scheduled for the next business day.
Once dates are approved, a 50% deposit is due to reserve your pet's spot.
This payment is non-refundable (up to $250 per pet) if cancelled with in our cancellation policy.

What to Bring
What to bring with your pet for any overnight boarding services at Lucky Buddies Pet Sitting.

Please check your drop off time on invoice to ensure you are on time for their drop off.
Being punctual is highly appreciated
If you are running late please notify us with time in advance or we can schedule a different drop off time.
What to bring:
Write clear instructions - on paper or on food container (Please note: cups versus scoops)
Food- already proportioned in ziplock bags or Include measuring cup if it is not proportioned
If allergies- state on instructions
Treats (optional)
For Example:
1 cup 2x per day
No Chicken
Extras:
1 pill before a meal/ Clean face ect (+$5)
Neighborhood walks everyday (+$15)
Hair brush everyday (+$15)
(Any new instructions will be added to the invoice)
Please do not change their portion sizes or switch foods before overnight boarding. Their stomach need time to adjust to something new and we want to avoid soft bowel movements during their stay.
*Refrigerator/freezer space is limited*
No crates, or bowls needed
Please limit number of items brought with your buddy
Pill pockets or pill wraps are needed for any medication that will be administered by our staff.
Cheese or meat will not be used to wrap their pills as we want to ensure they take them.
In portal add on the administer medication option and in event notes add on detailed instructions.

Schedule
Your pet will be joining us for doggy daycare from 8 AM - 4 PM at our home location.
They will be fed up to 3x a day, but please feed them before drop off.
Breakfast 8:20 AM
Nap time 11 AM - 1 PM (Neighborhood walks are done during this time, may be earlier based on weather)
Lunch 12 PM
Dinner 5:00 PM
At about 9:30 PM, they will be let out one last time to use the restroom before bed. If you would like your pet to have additional nap time please let us know and we can accommodate that.
Sunday's Schedule: On Sunday we are closed for doggy daycare but we still host our overnighters. Your pet will still be taken care of per usual and will have playtime during the day.
Report Card Updates & Sleeping Space
During their stay you will get a report card through our portal letting your know how your doggy is doing. Please allow up to 24 hours before your first report card. Please note: Report cards are not sent everyday but we do our best to keep you updated. For videos please follow our social media outlets @luckybuddies1.
Our sleeping area is monitored by home cameras and someone sleeps at the home at all times.
We have discovered that our overnight buddies need their resting time as they do not get to go home and rest. It is important for their health that they get to rest throughout the day as they get plenty of exercise here. Your pet will be crated at night so they get their own space and it keeps all pets safe during their stay. We have crates of all sizes to accommodate small to large breeds. Your pet will sleep in the home, not outside of the home. All crates will have access to water & food and a quiet place for them to nap as instrumental music is played through the day/night.
If your dog is not crate trained do not worry after their evaluation we will be transparent with you if we are not the best fit for them. Many dogs that are not crate trained do well in the crate as they are tired at the end of day and personal space is needed.
Recommendations
If your pet is staying with us for a few days, we would recommend signing them up for one of our doggy events and or a neighborhood walk so they can step out of the home. We often have buddy hikes, beach days, and neighborhood walks that are available to you.
Buddy showers and nail trims are also available so your buddy is nice and clean for you and your home. We will brush out their hair during this process. Check out our Buddy Shower tab for more details.
